RIST HELLAS is an authorised importer of watches and jewellery of select name brands. The new company headquarters occupy the third floor of an old tobacco factory in Thessaloniki.
As part of the remodelling project, transparent or opaque screens were designed, organising the space into distinct functional areas, all while leaving the sense of flow undisturbed; a rich colour scheme is used to enhance the designation of individual areas.
Upon entering, one is greeted by a large watch face designed on the floor, a sort of welcoming gesture dominating the reception area. The watch hands point to a small sitting area in the waiting room.
Similar hands are also scattered throughout the space, serving as directional arrows; they are combined with printed words of varying sizes, indicating paths and pointing to individual functional areas.
On the ceiling, two long beams, another iteration of the concept of watch hands, are meant to echo those on the floor, except that they are set on a different time of day.
